Opportunities in Space is a multi- faceted collection of work and book which form a linear view of seeing spacial relationships.
Using photography and architecture as a medium, Carl Martin links a visual thread throughout the photographic journey of the book as a way to see the pictures and the subject as forming a unique dialogue. The inventive architecture itself, taken on its own, is inspiring and rich in creativity and suggestion for ways to engage and define three dimensions. The pictures bounce from that base of materials in a joyful celebration of looking.
This is Carl’s second book with Fall Line Press, the first, Carl Martin, was published in 2018.
This is the second version of Opportunities in Space andis printed in a limited edition of 150. The first version, published in 2025 a few months earlier, was in an original run of 50 copies. Aforeword by Andrew Cole has been added for the second version.
